01. Last good book you've read?
Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes. I typically prefer non-fiction books but every now and then I like to read a classic that I've never read for school.
02. Favorite place to take out-of-town visitors?
The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens. The gardens are absolutely stunning and one of my favorite paintings – San Gabriel Valley by Edgar Alwin Payne – is part of the permanent exhibition there.
03. Meal you're most proud of cooking?
It's a traditional Chinese steamed fish topped with ginger, scallions, and sweet soy sauce. It's a dish I grew up eating but I was nervous it wouldn't taste the way my family made it. But, surprisingly, it turned out perfect and brought back a lot of memories.
04. Favorite no-frills self care ritual?
Put on a mask and catch up on reality television!
05. Who/what inspired you in the last 24 hours?
Creators on Instagram and Tik Tok! Just the creativity and effort it takes to edit these ten second clips; it's truly impressive.

Inspired by her mom, a long-time advocate for self-care, Queenie decided to shift her attention to a new endeavor after working in the arts for over a decade. As a newcomer to the beauty industry, it enabled her to find innovative solutions that made sense for her business and produce products at a scale without compromising on the quality, efficacy, or safety when working with natural and botanical ingredients.
